Subcommittee
The Ballona Wetlands Interim Management and Stewardship Subcommittee meets periodically to provide a forum for non-governmental organizations, land owners and the public to initiate a constructive dialogue with the Coastal Conservancy, the Department of Fish and Game and the State Lands Commission on the nature of interim management and stewardship activities.

Science Advisory Committee
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meets periodically to review the science used in restoration planning and to guide the implementation of a monitoring program. The Scientific Advisory Committee is an interdisciplinary team of scientists assembled at the beginning of the restoration planning process to ensure that the restoration plan is developed based on the best available science.
