Coastal Adaptation Program Field Technician

Dray Banfield is a field technician supporting The Bay Foundation’s Ocean Resilience Program and Coastal Adaptation Program. She is originally from San Francisco and moved to Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Writing. Dray spent her first year post-grad serving in the California Conservation Corps’ Watershed Stewards Program, where she identified her passion for conservation, fieldwork, and marine ecosystems. She loves working on California’s coastline and in its oceans, supporting efforts to keep critical habitat wild and healthy. When she’s not working, she spends her time surfing, making art, traveling, and enjoying the sunshine.
